Righteous Roast was founded by Erin Hackney with a simple mission: make quality coffee accessible to coffee lovers across the United States while providing a straightforward and transparent shopping experience.
Our Founder
Once upon a time, I was just a regular coffee lover on a quest for the perfect cup. But everywhere I went, I kept getting handed coffee that was either watered down, weirdly bitter, or about as exciting as a Monday morning spreadsheet. I started to wonder—was
bold, quality coffee just a myth?
Did coffee only exist in the secret back rooms of coffee shops, guarded by hipsters with handlebar mustaches?
The Mission
That’s when my mission began. I decided if I couldn’t find coffee that was both bold and high-quality, I’d just have to roast it myself. I dove headfirst into the world of specialty beans, taste-tested enough brews to make my eye twitch, and became way too
invested in the difference between “notes of chocolate” and “hints of citrus.”
Trial & Error
After a lot of caffeinated trial and error, I finally cracked the code: coffee that’s rich, flavorful, and never boring. Righteous Roast was born out of my refusal to settle for mediocre mugs. My goal? To make sure every cup you drink is as bold and righteous
as you deserve—because life’s too short for bland coffee, and I’m way too passionate about quality to let that slide.

Our roasting partners source specialty-grade coffee from farms around the world and roast in small batches to help ensure consistent quality and flavor.
To provide fresh products and efficient order fulfillment, many items are roasted, packaged, and shipped through our fulfillment partners after an order is placed. This process helps reduce storage time and allows products to move directly from production to your doorstep.
